National Acoustics Laboratories

The National Acoustics Laboratories (NAL) undertakes scientific investigations into hearing, hearing habilitation and rehabilitation, and the prevention of hearing loss. 

They are the research division of Australian Hearing, a Commonwealth Government Authority under the Department of Human Services. Much of their research is performed as a Community Service Obligation funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing.

Hearworks

Hearworks is the commercialisation services company for the CRC for Advanced Hearing Aid research, they work in collaboration with NAL and the industry to provide, prototyping services, prototype hardware, access to facilities and expertise. VAST Audio has a well defined working relationship with Hearworks and they are partners in ensuring our commercial success.
